They are relatively new to tuning TDIs and there have been some issues for some people with APR TDI tunes. 2) No tuning box can do what a real ECU tune can do. All any tuning box can do is to lie to the ECU about one (or more) sensor outputs.

On one end there are Volkswagen 1.9L TDIs chasing high RPM/high hp (5000+rpm, 300+hp). On the other are the Cummins 4BTs pushing huge torque figures at lower RPM (700+ ft lb at ~1800rpm).
